Which Raids are you able to attend?
[yup] Wednesday 20:00-24:00
[yup] Thursday 20:00-24:00
[yup] Sunday 20:00-24:00
So, where have you been before applying to us and why did you leave?
Rom Oter
I have been in RO for about 2 months and things had seemed fine until recently when I was basically attacked for being a capable healer. I know, sounds stupid and it caught me off guard too. If you want more details I can give it privately, but the main gist of it was that apparently they decided to keep quiet for a whole 2 months and then attack me and insult me rather than discussing calmly and in a civil manner. So, rather than putting up with that sort of thing I decided that enough is enough. My wife (Hornreaper) decided to leave due to the appalling way I was treated, and we want to be able to play together.
Animosity
We joined Animosity when I first moved to Draenor from the Alliance stronghold of Silvermoon. Here we raided throughout TBC and part of WotLK until a few months ago when the guild folded due to low attendance during the summer holidays, which prompted the entire set of core raiders to leave for other guilds (primarily GGY).
People you know in Iced Earth: Alucàrd, Sarysia
My class role in raids is:
(Taumina) Playing whack-a-mole with 25 HP bars.
(Hornreaper) Getting hit on the head by really big things, or clawing said big things in the butt if someone else is getting hit on the head.
What are your expectations if you join us: A mature, dedicated raiding guild that can raid, isn't afraid of challenges, and has no problem inspiring great teamwork while having fun. At the same time, it's important that people realise real life does matter, and that real life things do occasionally clash with free time.
Why did you pick us instead of someone else, why do you think we are good for you?: The guild progress is similar enough to what we’ve done already, also the 3-day raid times suit our now-busier schedule, and hopefully there's a place for both of us here.
Give us some reasons to recruit you, tell us something about yourself, tell us a bit about yourself, your background, any other MMOs you've played, your computer and connection, specs you have tried and enjoyed.
In short anything that you think will interest us:
In WoW
I (Taumina) am an extremely skilled healer who specialises in doing what a druid does best: a generalist healer who can focus on raid healing while helping on all tanks, deal with spike damage and soften constant AOE damage all at the same time. Oddly enough this got me in trouble in RO due to the fact they had absolutely no idea how this worked and assumed I was not doing my job. Rest assured that after healing throughout almost my entire WoW raiding time (first shaman, then druid), I’m very certain I know what I’m doing when it comes to toying with raid hp.
As a Feral Druid, Hornreaper can perform both tanking and DPS (althought with different specs. She’s very capable at both roles, and has a very strong general raiding knowledge due to the flexibility required to perform multiple roles. In addition with a background in Holy Priest healing, you’d be hard pressed to find many others who can say they’ve done it all.
(As for the inevitable question about whether one of us can respect to laserowl, we’ll get back to you on that one tomorrow)
Personal
We're a husband and wife team and wish to apply together.
My name's Ray (Taumina) and I'm a 25 year old Englishman from the South-East who moved to Finland 5 years ago to live with and marry my wife Lena (Hornreaper). We're a married couple living in Finland with 2 cats and a 9 week old puppy. We're both very friendly and helpful, and enjoy playing WoW for the social aspect, however we also like to suceed and see the sights, beat up some raid bosses. We're very competent players, always try to better ourselves for the good of both us and the guild, and aren't afraid of owning up when we mess up. We're also capable of bantering in Finnish and Swedish flavours.
Also, you can’t deny this:
